Opening Prayer
Holy Spirit, I welcome You. I quiet my heart before You and yield this time fully to Your leading, in the declarations I speak and whatever else You bring forth, in tongues or in my own tongue, as You give utterance. Stir me up today. Move me out of anywhere I have grown stagnant, and put me in motion for the work You have called me to. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Affirmation
You made me. I’m Your handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good things. You’ve already planned the good works I’d walk in, so I step into what You have prepared for me to do.
Ephesians 2:10
You have told me, be strong and brave. I will not be afraid, and I will not be discouraged, because You, my God, are with me everywhere I go.
Joshua 1:9
I know faith without action is dead. I will not just believe in You, I will act in faith.
James 2:17
You have called me to rise up and shine. Your light has come, and Your glory is showing up in my life.
Isaiah 60:1
Because of what Jesus did, humbling Himself and obeying all the way to the cross, I choose to live out the salvation You’ve placed in me. For it is You working in me, giving me the will and strength to do it, with reverence and not fear.
Philippians 2:5-8, 12-13
Closing Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for calling me up and out of stagnation. I don’t want to stay in the same place, comfortable and unmoved, while You have work for me to do. Give me the courage to walk boldly, the kind of faith that acts, and the strength to live out what You have placed in me. I commit my steps, my ministry, and this body into Your hands. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
